Sibusiso Shabalala
Managing Director
Sibusiso obtained his Baccalaureus Legum (LLB) degree from the University of the Western Cape, and his Master of Laws degree from the University of Natal (now known as the University of KwaZulu-Natal). He completed articles of clerkship with Cliffe Dekker Incorporated and was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in June 2004. Sibusiso was one of the founding directors of Kgorane Shabalala Incorporated. He has more than 20 years of experience in the practice areas of mineral resources, energy and mining; corporate and commercial; environmental and climate change law; and conflict and dispute resolution.

Johnny Kgorane
Director
Johnny obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of South Africa, and his Master of Town and Regional Planning degree from the University of Pretoria. He completed articles of clerkship with Van Staden GC Attorneys and was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in May 2020. Johnny was one of the founding directors of Kgorane Shabalala Incorporated. He is also a registered Professional Planner and a member of the South African Council for Planners. Johnny has worked in the local sphere of government for 15 years and has more than 18 years in the practice areas of family law; spatial planning and land use management; municipal law; social facilitation, and trust building.
